About Ada
Hi, I’m Ada!
In my free time, I enjoy looking around, painting, and taking photographs. Little moments often stay with me: the shape of a tree against the sky, the color of the sea in different cities, a sunset reflected in a building's windows, or simply the way light falls on an ordinary street.
For me, making art is a way of holding on to these moments a little longer. Sometimes, what I remember most vividly about a place is the way the 4 p.m. sunlight streamed through a window, or how the colors happened to blend on my watercolor paper as I tried to capture it.
I've always loved the thought that a stranger might stop to look at something I've created, just as I've often stopped to admire other people's work without knowing them. We may never meet, but for a few seconds, we might be seeing the same place through the same pair of eyes.
